i haven’t been here in so long wow
things i’ve learned/just a post for myself because this tumblr hasn’t been in use for a while:
there are a lot of good things in the world but society has trained the common person to always be fearful and to spend more time worrying about what they don’t have instead of appreciating what they do have.
defensiveness and volatility usually comes from a place of secret guilt (even if it’s only a little bit of guilt), and understanding/acceptance of the other person’s feelings comes usually from a sound guiltless conscience.
the world is a corrupt place and people who have let corruption overcome them are poison and will almost always try to drag you down to their level of misery, whether they care/notice or not.
I show affection for my pets by holding them against me and whispering I love you repeatedly as they struggle to escape from my arms
